Adecoagro Acquires Caarapó Mill From Raízen Group

Adecoagro S.A. completed the acquisition of the Caarapó Mill in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil from Raízen Group, following satisfaction of conditions precedent under a previously announced purchase agreement. Adecoagro paid R$705 million (approximately US$136 million) in cash at closing and plans to integrate the mill into its Sugar, Ethanol & Energy cluster to increase crushing volumes and improve operational performance.
