Med-Metrix Acquires Vitalware from Health Catalyst to Enhance Mid-Revenue Cycle Software

Med-Metrix, LLC has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Vitalware, a cloud-based revenue workflow and analytics software company owned by Health Catalyst. The deal is expected to strengthen Med-Metrix’s mid-revenue-cycle capabilities by improving charge capture, coding accuracy, and revenue integrity, with Vitalware’s leadership team and employees joining post-close. Financial terms include $147 million in cash, and the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in 2026.
