onsemi to Acquire Synaptics in $7 Billion All-Stock Transaction

onsemi and Synaptics announced they entered into a definitive agreement for onsemi to acquire Synaptics in an all-stock deal valued at approximately $7 billion. Synaptics stockholders will receive 1.350 shares of onsemi common stock for each Synaptics share, and Synaptics stockholders are expected to own about 12% of the combined company on a fully diluted basis.
