Qualcomm to Acquire Modular

Qualcomm entered into an agreement to acquire Modular, an AI software infrastructure company with an open, AI-native stack for running generative and agentic AI across heterogeneous compute. The deal is intended to strengthen Qualcomm Technologies’ edge-to-cloud AI software foundation and data-center strategy, with the transaction expected to close in the second half of 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
