Servier to Acquire Edgewise Therapeutics' Muscular Dystrophy Business

Servier entered into an agreement to acquire the muscular dystrophy business of Edgewise Therapeutics, including its lead investigational asset sevasemten, for up to $2.65 billion. The deal includes an upfront payment of $1.55 billion and up to $1.1 billion in regulatory and commercial milestone payments, and is expected to close in Q3 2026 subject to regulatory clearance.
