Solmetex, LLC Acquires DryShield, Inc.

Solmetex, a dental waste-management platform and portfolio company of Avista Capital Partners, has acquired DryShield, a maker of in-treatment dental isolation devices. The deal expands Solmetex's product portfolio (alongside recent Sterisil acquisition) to offer complementary patient-safety and treatment-focused technologies to dental practices and DSOs; financial terms were not disclosed.
