Blackstone has entered into a definitive agreement to make a significant investment in FUTRONIC, a South Korean provider of high-precision actuators and motion control technologies. The investment is intended to accelerate FUTRONIC’s international growth and expansion across automotive and robotics end markets, with founder Jin-ho Ko remaining chairman and CEO.
Angelini Pharma S.p.A. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for $31.50 per share in cash, valuing the deal at approximately $4.1 billion. The transaction marks Angelini Pharma’s entry into the United States and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and Catalyst stockholder approval.
Related Digital and funds affiliated with Blackstone, along with PIMCO-managed debt financing, announced financing has been secured for Related Digital’s $16 billion Oracle data center campus in Saline Township, Michigan. The campus is being developed for Oracle in support of its partnership with OpenAI to expand AI compute capacity.
Alexander & Baldwin agreed to be taken private in an all-cash transaction valued at about $2.3 billion (including outstanding debt). A joint venture formed by an affiliate of MW Group and funds affiliated with Blackstone Real Estate and DivcoWest acquired all outstanding Alexander & Baldwin common shares for $21.20 per share, and the deal has completed following shareholder approval on March 9, 2026.
EQT Future has agreed to acquire a majority stake in DESOTEC, a Belgian-headquartered provider of circular mobile filtration solutions. Blackstone-managed funds will remain minority investors, and German family offices Athos and Merckle will co-invest alongside EQT Future; the deal is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to approvals.
Blackstone announced it has entered into a definitive agreement for private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone to acquire Enverus, a data analytics energy intelligence and SaaS platform, from Hellman & Friedman and Genstar Capital. The transaction terms were not disclosed and is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to customary conditions.
Funds managed by Blackstone Real Estate have completed the acquisition of Village Hotels from affiliates of KSL Capital Partners. Village Hotels owns and operates 33 hotels across the United Kingdom (approximately 4,400 keys) with integrated fitness clubs, food & beverage outlets and co-working spaces; Blackstone said it plans to expand the number of hotels in the UK and enhance existing facilities.
