CVC Catalyst III agreed to acquire a majority stake in WillowWood Holdings Inc., with CVC Catalyst becoming the majority investor alongside Blue Sea Capital, the Arbogast family, and WillowWood management (who will reinvest). The parties expect closing in the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, and plan to use the partnership to accelerate product innovation and international expansion—especially in Europe.
CVC Capital Partners (Fund IX) will acquire a majority stake in Grupo GSH from Rede D’Or and Opus Investimentos, subject to regulatory approvals expected in Q3 2025. Grupo GSH, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, is a leading Brazilian provider of hemotherapy (blood bank) and nuclear medicine/radiopharmacy services that serves hospitals and diagnostic centres across the country; CVC said it will support growth into new product categories and patient services.
Sogelink, a France-based provider of software solutions for the infrastructure and construction sector, has acquired Netisys, a French software vendor specializing in infrastructure and asset management. The deal is supported by Sogelink's backers, Keensight Capital and CVC Capital Partners, and expands Sogelink's public-domain management capabilities across road, rail and port infrastructure. Netisys' team including its co-founders will join Sogelink as part of the transaction.
CVC Capital Partners Fund IX agreed to acquire the Therakos extracorporeal photopheresis business from Mallinckrodt plc for $925 million in a carve-out transaction. CVC said it will invest in further research, indication expansion and geographic growth of Therakos while key Therakos employees will transition with the business; Mallinckrodt will use proceeds to substantially reduce net debt.
Oakley Capital Fund III has agreed to sell its stake in TechInsights, with Oakley Capital Fund IV acquiring a majority stake alongside CVC Growth Funds. The transaction provides an exit for Fund III while delivering follow-on investment to support TechInsights' shift to subscription revenues and a multi-year expansion programme under CEO Gavin Carter.
Funds advised by CVC Capital Partners and TA Associates are acquiring the stake in Mediaocean held by Vista Equity Partners, in a transaction expected to close in Q4 2021 subject to regulatory approvals. The investment will support Mediaocean's growth and continued product consolidation of its omnichannel advertising platform, following recent acquisitions including Flashtalking and 4C.
