Building Products Acquisitions in Arkansas

TopBuild Corp. has entered into an agreement to acquire Insulation Works, a Wickes, Arkansas-based insulation installer and specialty distributor that operates three locations and generates approximately $28 million in annual revenue. The acquisition expands TopBuild’s residential, light-commercial and agricultural insulation capabilities and footprint in Arkansas and surrounding states.

Builders FirstSource has acquired Encore Building Products, a Springdale, Arkansas-based distributor and retailer of lumber, flooring and other building materials that serves professional contractors and multi-family builders in northwest Arkansas. Anchor Peabody served as exclusive financial advisor to Encore and its shareholders in the transaction.

SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc. completed its acquisition of River Valley Horticultural Products, Inc., a wholesale distributor of nursery, hardscapes, and landscape supply products with one location in Little Rock, Arkansas. The deal expands SiteOne's presence in Central Arkansas and adds local capabilities and inventory to support residential and commercial landscape professionals.

H.I.G. Capital affiliate completed a recapitalization of Windows USA, partnering with Michael Allbritton, Robert Tankersley, Ryan Guthrie, Eric Oliver and the existing management team to provide resources to accelerate growth. Headquartered in Royal, Arkansas, Windows USA is a vertically integrated provider of replacement vinyl windows and a leading DTC installer serving homeowners across the Southern United States; terms were not disclosed.

ACS American Construction Source (backed by Angeles Equity Partners and Clearlake Capital) acquired Contractor's Truss Systems, a Cotter, Arkansas-based engineered wood products manufacturer. The acquisition — the fifth for ACS in 11 months — adds a 40,000 sq. ft. component manufacturing facility to ACS's platform to expand component manufacturing capacity and better serve builders and contractors in the Ozarks region.
