Building Products Acquisitions in Rhode Island

Installed Building Products, Inc. (NYSE: IBP) has acquired Anchor Insulation Co., Inc., a Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based installer of residential, mechanical and industrial insulation with approximately $39 million of annual revenue. The acquisition expands IBP’s presence and service offering across the Northeastern United States (Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts) and adds to the company's 2023 acquisition growth.

Saylite, a CORE Industrial Partners portfolio company, has acquired Vantage Lighting, a U.S.-based manufacturer of specification-grade LED downlights, cylinders and high bays. The add-on expands Saylite's product portfolio and domestic manufacturing capabilities—strengthening Vantage's vHealth healthcare lighting offering and supporting Buy American requirements. The deal closed at the end of 2022; terms were not disclosed.

An affiliate of Paceline Equity Partners, a Dallas-based private equity manager, was the successful bidder to acquire substantially all assets of Quick Fitting, Inc. as part of a receivership process, with closing anticipated on December 16, 2020. Quick Fitting, headquartered near Providence, Rhode Island, manufactures push-to-connect fittings used across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and fire suppression end markets; Paceline plans to continue operating the business in Rhode Island and support its growth.
