Shore Capital Partners has completed a partnership with Optis Consulting, a Vancouver-based source-to-pay (S2P) consulting and implementation firm. Shore will support Optis's growth by joining the board, investing in organic growth, expanding service offerings, and selectively evaluating acquisitions to scale the platform.

dss+ has acquired Montreal-based Proaction International, adding 132 senior experts and the proprietary UTrakk digital management platform to deepen its operational excellence and leadership coaching capabilities. The deal expands dss+’s presence in North America and Europe and integrates Proaction’s field coaching, performance management expertise and technology into dss+’s global consulting network.

Global management consulting firm Kearney has acquired IMTEK Inc., a Canada-based supply chain planning consulting and systems-integration specialist that leverages platforms like Kinaxis. The acquisition expands Kearney’s end-to-end planning and digital capabilities, immediately adding expertise and a presence in the Americas and India to support clients’ supply chain transformations.

HR Path, a global HR consulting firm, has acquired IN-RGY, a Quebec-based HR digital transformation and HRIS consulting firm, to strengthen its presence in Canada and North America. The deal follows HR Path’s €500 million fundraising from Ardian and will see IN-RGY operate as "IN-RGY, an HR Path Company," with its leadership and teams remaining in place.

Global consulting firm J.S. Held has acquired Canadian forensic accounting firm ADS Forensics, expanding its Forensic Accounting and financial investigations capabilities into Canada. The acquisition brings ADS Forensics’ Ontario-based team and expertise into J.S. Held’s global insurance and legal advisory platform, extending local services to the firm’s broader client base.

Diversio has acquired CCDI Consulting from its parent organization, the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI), integrating CCDI Consulting's DEI advisory, training, and education services into Diversio’s platform and services. The deal expands Diversio’s capabilities across strategy, training, and education and broadens its reach in North America and Europe to deliver combined data-driven DEI technology and human expertise.

WSP Global Inc. has completed the acquisition of Communica Public Affairs Inc., a Canadian Indigenous and stakeholder engagement and information-management consulting firm. The deal brings approximately 50 professionals and expands WSP’s capabilities in Indigenous and stakeholder engagement and information management to support multidisciplinary projects and clients’ ESG journeys across Canada.

Accenture has acquired Comtech Group, a Toronto-based consulting and program management firm that supports large infrastructure and capital projects across Canada and the United States. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Accenture’s capital projects and Industry X capabilities in Canada, adding approximately 300 Comtech employees and expertise in construction management, facility and manufacturing engineering, and process control automation.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. acquired Toronto-based A.H. Horn and Associates Limited (dba Horn), a sales and leadership development consultancy. The Horn team will join Gallagher’s benefits and HR consulting operation in Canada to bolster the firm’s leadership advisory capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

Global leadership advisory firm Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA) has acquired Kilberry, a Toronto-based leadership advisory and management psychology firm. Kilberry's team of roughly 11 consultants will join RRA's Toronto office, strengthening RRA's executive assessment, CEO succession, coaching, and private equity advisory capabilities and expanding its presence in Canada.

Sussex Strategy Group, a Canadian public affairs and strategic communications firm, has acquired Cumberland Strategies and integrated its staff and clients. The deal expands Sussex's national presence and broadens its advisory, government relations, and strategic communications capabilities across sectors including energy, environment, infrastructure and transportation.

Delta Consulting Group has acquired Froese Forensic Partners, a Canadian forensic accounting and financial investigations firm with offices in Toronto and Calgary. The acquisition expands Delta's service capabilities in forensic accounting, fraud investigations and business valuation while establishing a stronger presence in the Canadian market.

TELEO Capital portfolio company UMT360 has acquired Western Principles Consulting, a Vancouver-based project portfolio management (PPM) consulting firm. The business will be merged into UMT360 to strengthen its Strategic Portfolio Management services and to enable direct service of the Canadian market.

XMachina-AI Inc. acquired 100% of Bain Public Inc.'s outstanding shares on December 31, 2021 in a deal consisting of cash and share consideration that vests over time. The acquisition brings Bain Public’s niche product-management and consulting expertise (and Montreal AI-accelerator presence) into XMachina to expand the buyer’s in‑house product capabilities and deal flow as it pursues growth and an upcoming public listing.

Morrow Sodali acquired Toronto-based Gryphon Advisors, a Canadian proxy solicitation and corporate governance advisory firm, and announced a strategic partnership with Global Governance Advisors to bolster executive compensation and governance services. Gryphon’s team joined Morrow Sodali and will operate under the Morrow Sodali brand beginning January 1, 2022, strengthening the firm’s Canadian footprint and governance/ESG advisory capabilities.

Ryan, a global tax services and software provider, has acquired Mentor Works, a Guelph, Ontario-based government funding and grants advisory firm. As part of the acquisition 27 Mentor Works team members will join Ryan and founder Bernadeen McLeod will assume a leadership role within Ryan's government grants practice, strengthening Ryan's capabilities in Canada.

Sia Partners has acquired Ethier, a Calgary-based management consulting firm founded in 1982 focusing on regulatory compliance, risk management, operations excellence and digital transformation. The deal brings Ethier's C$10m revenue and 50+ consultants into Sia Partners, strengthening Sia's presence in Western Canada (Calgary and new Vancouver office) and expanding its Canadian capabilities.

AML Analytics has acquired McDonell-Nadeau Consultants (MNC), a global provider of AML/CFT strategic and technical advisory services led by Rick McDonell and Josée Nadeau. The combined organization will develop an integrated SupTech/RegTech framework to enhance regulator reporting, compliance monitoring and cross-jurisdictional AML/CFT cooperation.

HR Path has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of InTalent, a Montreal-based HR consulting and HCM implementation firm. The acquisition strengthens HR Path's North American footprint—reinforcing its Montreal office and adding expertise in HR strategy and implementations with vendor partnerships such as Oracle and Cornerstone.
