MGT, a national technology and advisory solutions firm, has acquired rpk GROUP, a higher-education-focused management consulting firm led by Rick Staisloff. The acquisition expands MGT's higher education finance and strategy capabilities and deepens its portfolio of advisory services for colleges, universities, and state systems.

dss+ acquired ADS System Safety Consulting, LLC, a U.S.-based consulting firm specializing in system safety, system security, and fire and life safety. The acquisition expands dss+'s operational risk management and technical safety engineering capabilities across public transport, aviation, space and autonomous/electric vehicle markets.

Global consulting firm J.S. Held has acquired Annapolis, Maryland-based TransCon CSI, a specialist in accident investigation, reconstruction, and expert witness testimony. The deal expands J.S. Held's Accident Reconstruction practice and adds mid-Atlantic technical resources and commercial vehicle investigation capabilities.

Sia Partners has acquired Latham BioPharm Group (LBG), a U.S.-based life sciences consulting firm of nearly 60 consultants with roughly $20m in revenue, to launch a dedicated global Life Science Consulting division. The deal expands Sia Partners' capabilities in non-dilutive funding, product development, regulatory and clinical support, and strengthens its U.S. business and global life sciences offering.

Resolution Economics (a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners) has acquired Berkshire Associates, a Columbia, Maryland-based provider of outsourced affirmative action plan (AAP) consulting, EEO compliance services and related software. The deal — terms undisclosed — will keep Berkshire operating under its name with President Beth Ronnenburg remaining in place and is intended to expand ResEcon's HR compliance and AAP/service capabilities.

Executive compensation and leadership consulting firm Pearl Meyer has acquired Yaffe & Company, a specialist in executive compensation, governance, physician advisory, and faculty compensation serving not‑for‑profit healthcare systems and higher education institutions. The acquisition brings Alexander Yaffe and his team into Pearl Meyer as part of an effort to deepen the firm's capabilities and client coverage in healthcare and higher education.
