Veranex, formed in partnership with growth investor Summit Partners, launched a concept-to-commercialization medtech services platform and acquired three complementary companies: Ximedica, Quartesian, and Boston Healthcare Associates. The combined business brings design and engineering, clinical data, regulatory, and market-access/HEOR capabilities together to create an integrated, global medtech service provider.

Veranex, a global tech-enabled medtech service provider, acquired an ecosystem of Swedish medical device and IVD consultancies led by Devicia and Clarvin (including affiliates Kickfile, Lea Reg, and Limulus Bio). The add-on expands Veranex's regulatory, clinical, quality assurance, and biocompatibility capabilities and strengthens its European and UK presence to support MDR/IVDR strategies and local representation.

Accelmed Partners II and Lauxera Capital Invest in Veranex

Veranex Acquires Fusion Biotec

The acquisition brings Fusion's 15,000-square-foot facility and 45+ engineering staff into Veranex's Product Design & Engineering capabilities, expanding Veranex's diagnostic/IVD development, software/firmware reuse and Southern California footprint; financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands Veranex's human-centered design and human factors capabilities and broadens its geographic footprint with Worrell's offices in Minneapolis, Providence, the San Francisco Bay Area, London, and Shanghai.
