Altamont Capital Partners Acquires Bishop Lifting Products from SBP Holdings

Altamont Capital Partners completed the acquisition of Houston-based Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. (BLP) from SBP Holdings, acquiring the entire business and retaining BLP management. Stellus Capital Management provided unitranche senior debt financing and an equity co-investment to support Altamont's purchase; Altamont plans to grow BLP as a platform through expanded customers, end markets, capabilities and strategic add-on acquisitions.

Bishop Lifting Products, a portfolio company of Altamont Capital Partners, has acquired All-Lifts, Inc., a family-owned fabricator of wire rope slings and lifting devices headquartered in Albany, New York. The acquisition is an add-on to Bishop's platform to expand its geographic footprint in the Northeast; All-Lifts will continue operating with its full workforce and Brian Dewey will join Bishop in a leadership role.

The add-on expands Bishop Lifting's physical footprint into Florida, broadens its lifting and rigging product and service offerings, and keeps prior owner Doug Worswick in a leadership role with the combined business.
