Volato Acquires Gulf Coast Aviation

Volato, a private aviation operator focused on HondaJet fractional ownership and charter services, has acquired Gulf Coast Aviation (GCA), an aircraft management and charter operator based at Atlantic Aviation at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas. The founders of GCA, Steve and Debbie Holmes, are retiring and Volato will retain all GCA employees as it expands its operational footprint and charter/fractional capabilities in the Houston market; terms were not disclosed.

Jetcraft Acquires Corporate Fleet Services (CFS Jets)

Jetcraft, the global leader in business aircraft sales and trading, has acquired Corporate Fleet Services (CFS Jets), a Cornelius, North Carolina-based broker specializing in turboprops, light and midsize business jets. The firms will continue to operate individually while CFS Jets is now “powered by Jetcraft,” expanding Jetcraft’s product expertise, inventory and North American presence.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires STS Aviation Group from Greenbriar Equity Group

FleetPride Acquires Commercial Truck Services (CTS) of Little Rock and Conway, Arkansas

The founding owners — Joel and Lana Foster and Darryl and Jaci Birdsong — will remain onboard to support integration while FleetPride expands parts and service capabilities in the Little Rock market.

Flexjet Acquires Constant Aviation

Flexjet has acquired Constant Aviation, an aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider, and will integrate Constant's facilities and AOG mobile response network into its operations. The acquisition expands Flexjet's in-house maintenance capabilities and footprint (including Cleveland and Orlando facilities), supports fleet growth and adds rotorcraft and UAS MRO capabilities.

Modern Aviation Acquires Three Northeast FBOs

Modern Aviation has executed a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Mystic Jet Center, LLC (Groton–New London Airport, Groton, CT), Columbia Air Services-BHB, LLC (Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport, Trenton, ME) and Columbia Air Services-RUT, LLC (Rutland Southern Vermont Regional Airport, Rutland, VT) from their two owners. The deal — expected to close in Q4 2022 — adds more than 161,500 square feet of leasable hangar and office space, retains all employees and expands Modern Aviation’s FBO network to 16 locations; Modern Aviation is backed by Tiger Infrastructure Partners.
