The acquisition combines RailFX's branded railing products with NWI's Ultra-Tec infill offering to create a single-vendor railing solution for the lumber and building materials channel; terms were not disclosed.

PrimeSource Building Products, a Clearlake-backed national distributor of specialty residential building products, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire NWI Enterprises (doing business as Nationwide Industries) from affiliates of Harbour Group. The add-on expands PrimeSource’s branded product catalogue into fence & gate hardware, railing systems and perimeter security and aims to accelerate growth through enhanced channel reach and catalogue depth.

Brattle Technologies, a family-owned holding company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, acquired Lockwood Manufacturing Co., a Livonia, Michigan-based maker of aluminum and steel equipment, in a transaction that closed on August 8, 2025. Founder and prior owner David Lamson sold the business and will join Lockwood's board while Matt Phillips was promoted to CEO to lead the company under Brattle's ownership.
