Acathia Capital Increases Stake in Swedish Life Insurer Futur Pension

Acathia Capital has completed an increase of its stake in Futur Pension Försäkrings AB after receiving approvals from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, raising its joint ownership from 30% to nearly 50%. Futur Pension, a digital-first life insurer with ~11% premium market share and around EUR 19 billion in assets under administration, will continue to be backed by a group of institutional investors including Nordic PE manager Polaris.
