Element Materials Technology Acquires ISS Inspection Services from Industrial Service Solutions

Element Materials Technology has acquired ISS Inspection Services, the inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) segment formerly part of Industrial Service Solutions, a Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company. ISS Inspection Services—comprising NIC Inspection Services, PTI Industries, PRO Inspection Services and CTS Inspection Services—brings ~300 employees across five U.S. facilities and expands Element's NDT, inspection and special-process capabilities in aerospace, defense, space and energy MRO and aftermarket markets.

Temasek Acquires Element Materials Technology from Bridgepoint

Headquartered in London with over 7,000 employees and annual revenues above $1 billion, Element will partner with Temasek to accelerate growth and deepen capabilities in high-growth end-markets such as life sciences and connected technologies.

Premier Biotech Acquires National Test Systems

Premier Biotech, a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners, has acquired National Test Systems (NTS), a provider of rapid point-of-care drug screening supplies and services that serves more than 1,500 facilities across the United States. The acquisition expands Premier's point-of-care testing capabilities (including oral fluid testing) and deepens its presence in government and behavioral health end markets; NTS CEO Andrew Panico will remain involved to support the transition.

NPM Capital Takes Minority Stake in NTS Group

NPM Capital is acquiring a minority stake in NTS Group to support the Eindhoven-based supplier of complex (opto)mechatronic systems in accelerating its international growth and expanding production capacity across Europe, Asia and North America. The deal, which will help NTS scale for semiconductor and analytical OEM customers, is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the first half of 2025.

Element Materials Technology, a London-headquartered testing, inspection and certification provider, has acquired Arch Sciences Group, a specialist analytical services and laboratory solutions provider to the pharmaceuticals sector. The deal (which sees Limerston Capital exit its investment in Arch) brings Element a team of ~170 employees across five locations and establishes Element's entry into the European pharmaceutical market, expanding its life sciences capabilities.

Technical Safety Services, LLC (TSS), operating under Technical Solutions Holdings, Inc., has acquired Atlantic Technical Systems, Inc. (ATS), a cleanroom testing and certification services business based in Annapolis, Maryland. The acquisition expands TSS/TSH’s service capabilities and strengthens its national footprint in the northeastern United States, while ATS customers will gain access to a broader suite of testing, certification and calibration services.
