HCI Equity Partners acquired Tech24, a national provider of installation, preventative maintenance and emergency repair services for foodservice and HVAC equipment, in June 2020. HCI plans to use Tech24 as a platform to pursue add-on acquisitions to build scale, geographic density and expanded service capabilities across the U.S.

CKR, based in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, provides repair, preventative maintenance and installation services for commercial cooking equipment across restaurants, schools, hospitals and grocery stores in the greater Philadelphia area; the deal is Tech24's fifteenth add-on to expand its technician workforce and customer base in the northeastern U.S.
