Sparx Hockey Acquires BladeScan

Sparx Hockey, a privately held developer of automated skate sharpening equipment, has acquired BladeScan, a Minnesota-based maker of a high-resolution laser measurement machine and related IP. The acquisition brings BladeScan's technology, patents and founder Joe Tracy (who will join Sparx as Director of Strategic Projects) into Sparx to strengthen its measurement, R&D and product capabilities.
