Clearlake Capital completed a $7.7 billion acquisition of Dun & Bradstreet, taking the business-data and analytics provider private. Cannae Holdings—which held roughly 16% of DNB—realized approximately $630–$632 million from the transaction (including proceeds from selling 10 million shares) and said it will use a large portion of proceeds for share buybacks, dividends and debt repayment.
