Vintage Wine Estates Acquires Vinesse, LLC

Vintage Wine Estates (VWE) has acquired substantially all of the assets of Vinesse, LLC, a direct-to-consumer wine club operator with over 60,000 members and approximately $20 million in annual revenue. VWE paid $14 million cash plus a $2.5 million earnout, and expects to realize material cost synergies by bringing operations in-house while expanding DTC cross‑sell and digital capabilities; founder Larry Dutra (the seller) is expected to remain to help run the business.

E. & J. Gallo Winery Acquires Bev

E. & J. Gallo Winery has acquired Bev, the woman-founded canned-wine and spritzer brand founded by Alix Peabody in Venice, California. The deal expands Gallo's portfolio into Bev's premium zero-sugar canned wines and aims to broaden the brand's consumer reach and distribution; terms were not disclosed and Peabody will remain involved with the brand.

Hillebrand Acquires Majority Stake in VignoblExport

E. & J. Gallo Winery Acquires Denner Vineyards

Vintage Wine Estates Acquires Meier's Beverage Group

Vintage Wine Estates, a publicly traded wine company based in Santa Rosa, California, acquired Meier's Wine Cellars, DBA Meier's Beverage Group, a beverage production and contract-bottling facility in Silverton, Ohio. The acquisition (priced at roughly eight times 2021 adjusted EBITDA) adds production capacity — including three bottling lines and a canning line — and strengthens VWE's RTD and Midwest distribution capabilities.

Foley Family Wines Acquires Silverado Vineyards

Foley Family Wines has acquired Silverado Vineyards, the Napa Valley estate winery founded by Diane Marie Disney Miller and Ron Miller. The deal includes the 73,000-square-foot winery, visitors center/tasting room, and four estate vineyards totaling nearly 300 planted acres. Foley intends to expand direct-to-consumer sales and wine-club offerings while preserving the winery's sustainability initiatives.
