Ares Management Corporation has acquired Riverside Credit Solutions (RCS), an affiliated fund and lower‑middle‑market direct lending team of The Riverside Company. The Boston‑based RCS team and capabilities will be integrated into Ares' U.S. Direct Lending platform to expand coverage of cash‑flow‑based lending to lower‑middle‑market, PE‑sponsored and non‑sponsored businesses.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter, after which Vista will take ownership of the Columbus, Ohio–based software platform that Riverside had expanded through add-ons such as SAMsix and RosterApps.
