HelpSystems Acquires GlobalSCAPE

HelpSystems completed a cash tender offer to acquire all outstanding shares of GlobalSCAPE at $9.50 per share, accepting approximately 14.9 million shares (about 78.8% of outstanding). GlobalSCAPE will become a wholly owned subsidiary of HelpSystems and be integrated into its data security and automation portfolio to expand managed file transfer and secure data movement capabilities.
