OpenExchange Acquires Veracast Communications

The combined business will integrate Veracast’s purpose-built webcast platform with OpenExchange’s conferencing and managed services to expand capabilities and scale virtual event production globally.

Telestream Acquires Encoding.com

Telestream, a Genstar Capital portfolio company, has acquired Encoding.com, an Emmy-winning cloud media processing and transcoding platform used by major media, streaming and corporate video customers. The acquisition will integrate Encoding.com's cloud-native encoding technology and team into Telestream to accelerate cloud VOD workflows and expand Telestream's file-based and cloud media processing capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

Box, Inc. Acquires Crooze Corporation

The LC Group Acquires Leadercast

Cincinnati-based The LC Group, a partner organization of creative agency Boonrise led by Joe Boyd, has acquired Leadercast, a long-running producer of leadership events and digital content. The deal will relocate Leadercast's headquarters from Atlanta, Georgia to downtown Cincinnati and accelerate the company's shift to a digital-first leadership platform through expanded offerings like Leadercast NOW.
