Finning Acquires Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics (UK) for ~£65M

Finning International Inc. has acquired Hydraquip Hose & Hydraulics Ltd. and Hoses Direct Ltd. (together, Hydraquip), the UK’s second-largest hydraulic hose replacement and repair company, for approximately £65 million. The acquisition expands Finning's product support and mobile-service capabilities across multiple end markets and is expected to be immediately accretive to its UK & Ireland operations.

JGB Enterprises Acquires HosePower Canada (Industrial, Petroleum and Mining Supplies Ltd.)

JGB Enterprises, backed by HCI Equity Partners, has acquired Industrial, Petroleum and Mining Supplies Limited d/b/a HosePower Canada (IPM). The add-on acquisition (closed June 10, 2021) gives JGB entry into the Canadian market, adding six locations, a complementary hose and fittings product portfolio and service capabilities to serve roughly 3,000 customers across forestry, mining, construction, agriculture and other industrial end markets.

Applied Industrial Technologies Acquires Hydradyne, LLC

Applied Industrial Technologies has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Hydradyne, a leading U.S. fluid power and motion control distributor. The acquisition expands Applied’s Engineered Solutions capabilities and Southeastern U.S. footprint; Hydradyne’s ~500 associates across 33 locations are expected to contribute about $260 million in sales and $30 million in EBITDA before synergies.

Austin Hose Acquires Powertrack International

Austin Hose has acquired Powertrack International (PTI), a Pittsburgh-based wholesale distributor of industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings that was a portfolio company of Tecum Capital Partners. The terms were not disclosed; the acquisition expands Austin Hose's geographic footprint and customer base by adding PTI's facilities in Pennsylvania, Texas and California.

Summit Hydraulics (North Branch Capital) Acquires PowerX International

The add-on transaction closed on May 1, 2024 and expands Summit's product offering and access to OEM and distributor end markets (construction, agriculture and other industrial equipment).

Wipro Hydraulics (Wipro Infrastructure Engineering) Acquires Columbus Hydraulics

Wipro Hydraulics, the hydraulics business of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (part of Wipro Enterprises), has acquired Columbus Hydraulics, a US-based hydraulic cylinder manufacturer founded in 1952. The deal strengthens Wipro's manufacturing capabilities and presence in North America and expands its product and customer portfolio across agriculture, construction, turf maintenance and marine end markets.
