Actis Acquires BioTherm Energy from Denham Capital

Actis Capital has acquired South African independent power producer BioTherm Energy from Denham Capital for an undisclosed sum. The deal transfers a portfolio of wind and solar projects (over 500 MW across operational and development stages) to Actis as it expands its renewables footprint in Africa; Jasandra Nyker, formerly BioTherm CEO, will join Denham Capital in a senior role following the exit.
