BharCap Partners has made a strategic majority investment in Electronic Merchant Systems (EMS), a Cleveland-based merchant solutions and payments provider. Bain Capital Credit and Group 1001 provided senior debt financing and acted as equity co-investors to support the transaction; terms were not disclosed.

Crestview Partners Acquires Emerald EMS from New Water Capital

Crestview Partners has completed the acquisition of Emerald EMS from New Water Capital, with Emerald's CEO Vic Giglio continuing to lead the company. Headquartered in Salem, New Hampshire, Emerald is a high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing services provider operating six U.S. facilities and one in China; financial terms were not disclosed. Crestview intends to invest in the business and pursue additional add-ons and capability expansion to accelerate Emerald's growth.

Emergency Care Partners Acquires Integrated Emergency Medicine Specialists

Emergency Care Partners (ECP), a physician-owned emergency medicine services platform backed by Varsity Healthcare Partners and Regal Healthcare Capital Partners, has completed a strategic merger with Integrated Emergency Medicine Specialists (IEMS). IEMS — a Naples, Florida-based emergency department management group founded in 2015 — will operate as a regional physician group within ECP to leverage ECP's clinical analytics, back-office infrastructure, and national partnership resources to support growth and deepen hospital relationships.
