GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Gilroy, California-based Sally Produce, a leading Asian fresh-produce wholesaler that supplies grocery retailers and restaurants across the U.S. West Coast. The deal expands GrubMarket’s West Coast distribution footprint and brings Sally Produce access to GrubMarket’s AI-powered SaaS and eCommerce tools while retaining Sally Produce’s existing leadership team.

GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Houston-based Brothers Produce, a major foodservice distributor operating three distribution centers across Texas and serving more than 6,000 customers across the Southwestern U.S. Brothers Produce's temperature-controlled warehousing and fleet of refrigerated vehicles will be integrated with GrubMarket's AI-powered WholesaleWare ERP and logistics platform to expand GrubMarket's footprint and capabilities in Texas and the surrounding region.

GrubMarket Acquires Best Oriental Produce

GrubMarket has acquired San Francisco–based Butter, a four-year-old provider of AI-powered sales tools, cloud ERP and integrated payments for food distributors, for an undisclosed price. The acquisition will fold Butter’s AI-driven ecommerce and payment capabilities into GrubMarket’s WholesaleWare, GrubAssist AI and mobile commerce products to accelerate digital ordering and payment processing for restaurants, grocers and food wholesalers.
