Geospace Technologies Acquires GeoVox Security (Heartbeat Detector Technology)

Geospace Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: GEOS) acquired 100% of the outstanding shares of GeoVox Security, Inc., the company that commercialized Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Heartbeat Detector technology, effective July 31, 2025. The purchase brings a portable heartbeat-detection security product into Geospace’s Intelligent Industrial/perimeter security portfolio and positions the company to offer the product on a subscription (recurring revenue) basis to corrections, border and other government customers.

The deal brings Geost's electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) sensor payload capabilities and manufacturing facilities into Rocket Lab, expanding its national security space capabilities and U.S. footprint (Arizona and Virginia).
