Hub International Limited acquired the assets of Western Assurance Corp., an independent insurance agency based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The acquisition expands Hub's commercial and personal insurance capabilities (including employee benefits) and strengthens its Specialty practices by adding Western Assurance's experience serving non-profit, construction and transportation clients; the Western Assurance team will join Hub Southwest. Terms were not disclosed; Western Assurance was represented by Mystic Capital.

The deal expands Hub’s commercial and personal insurance capabilities and strengthens its specialty practices in construction, manufacturing, healthcare/life sciences and technology; Wade’s leadership team will join Hub Carolinas. Terms were not disclosed and Reagan Consulting represented Wade Associates.

Hub International Limited acquired the assets of Massachusetts-based Summit Financial Corporation and Summit Financial Insurance Agency, Inc., expanding Hub's retirement and employee benefits capabilities in New England. Summit, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, will join Hub's New England retirement and benefits operations with its leadership and staff continuing to operate from existing offices.
