DigitalBridge Investment Management Acquires Controlling Stake in Vertical Bridge

Funds affiliated with DigitalBridge Investment Management have acquired a controlling stake in Vertical Bridge Holdings, LLC, the largest private owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure in the United States. The investment consolidates ownership to support Vertical Bridge’s continued scaling across more than 308,000 sites (including 8,000+ towers) and to capitalize on growing demand for 5G and other next-generation telecom infrastructure.

DigitalBridge has formed EdgePoint Infrastructure, a Southeast Asia-focused wireless towers platform led by Suresh Sidhu, and is building scale through multiple acquisitions and asset purchases. EdgePoint has secured over 10,000 sites across Indonesia and Malaysia, including a controlling stake in PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, the purchase of 4,247 towers from Indosat Ooredoo (sale‑leaseback), and the acquisition of Asiaspace in Malaysia to accelerate 5G infrastructure deployment.

Transom Capital Acquires BridgeTower Media

Transom Capital Group has acquired BridgeTower Media, a B2B information, research, events and marketing platform formerly a subsidiary of Gannett Co. BridgeTower operates more than 40 print and digital brands across 25+ U.S. markets; Transom said it will invest in technology and resources to grow the business. Cerberus Business Finance provided financing for the transaction and JEGI acted as financial advisor to Gannett.

Berkshire Partners Acquires Majority Stake in TowerNorth

Sýn and Nova will be long-term dual-anchor tenants on the new company's towers as ÍslandsTurnar supports their 5G deployment plans.

TPT Global Tech Acquires 75% of Bridge Internet

Bridge Internet founder and CEO Trip Camper retained a 25% interest and will remain as CEO; the acquisition expands TPT's rural wireless internet and joint-venture offerings across the United States.
