Saks Global (HBC) Acquires Neiman Marcus Group for ~$2.65 Billion

Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) — through its newly created Saks Global business — has agreed to acquire Neiman Marcus Group (NMG) to form a multi-brand luxury retail and real estate platform. The combined company will pair iconic retail brands (Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Saks OFF 5TH) with technology, first-party data and strategic investors (including Amazon, Rhône Capital, Insight Partners and Salesforce) to drive personalized omnichannel experiences and unlock real estate value.

Capital has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Hibu Group (USA), Inc., a Cedar Rapids–based provider of integrated digital marketing services for small and medium-sized businesses. H.I.G. said the investment will support Hibu's next phase of growth and product innovation; the seller is Hibu Group Limited (UK).

Hg Acquires Majority Stake in A-LIGN from Warburg Pincus

Hg has acquired a majority stake in A-LIGN from Warburg Pincus to support the cybersecurity compliance firm's next phase of global expansion. HgCapital Trust plc and other institutional clients of Hg (via the Hg Genesis Fund) are investing alongside Hg; terms were not disclosed. A-LIGN, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, is a tech-enabled cyber compliance and audit provider serving over 5,700 clients and will leverage Hg's resources to scale internationally and expand services.

NV5 Global, a provider of engineering, technology, and conformity-assessment services, has completed the acquisition of Herman Cx, a commissioning and conformity-assessment firm focused on hyperscale data centers.
