Calibre Scientific has acquired BrightBox Quantitation, a San Mateo, California-based reagent manufacturer that produces proprietary assay kits for rapid quantitation of DNA/RNA NGS libraries. BrightBox will join Calibre's EdgeBio division to expand the company's DNA sequencing consumables portfolio and accelerate NGS workflow capabilities for customers.
