Platte River Equity Acquires Belt Power, LLC from Shorehill Capital

Platte River Equity has acquired Belt Power, LLC, a Marietta, Georgia–based distributor and fabricator of conveyor system components, from Shorehill Capital. Platte River invested out of Platte River Equity IV in partnership with Belt Power's existing management team; Shorehill will retain an ongoing equity stake. The deal aims to scale Belt Power's national footprint and expand its product and service offerings across industrial automation end markets.

The transaction is an add-on acquisition (Belt Power's sixth since Platte River's 2022 investment) intended to expand Belt Power's geographic presence, fabrication capabilities and customer base across industrial end markets such as food, packaging and logistics.

Belt Power LLC Acquires Rubber Service Corp.

Belt Power LLC, a Marietta, Georgia-based distributor and fabricator of conveyor system components and a portfolio company of Shorehill Capital, completed the asset acquisition of Rubber Service Corp. on December 1, 2020. The acquisition expands Belt Power's footprint into the Denver metropolitan area and Mountain West markets; Rubber Service owner Lou Siemer will continue to lead the new Belt Power branch.
