PracticeTek has merged with Integrated Practice Solutions (IPS), with the combined business retaining the PracticeTek brand and Lightyear Capital remaining the majority owner. Greater Sum Ventures will continue its investment, Waud Capital is reinvesting as a minority investor, and IPS CEO George Ahn will lead the combined company as CEO to expand PracticeTek's retail healthcare software and payments platform.
