Brookfield Business Partners Acquires DexKo Global from KPS Capital Partners

Brookfield Business Partners L.P., together with its institutional partners, agreed to acquire DexKo Global Inc. from KPS Capital Partners for $3.4 billion. DexKo, a Novi, Michigan–based manufacturer of chassis technology and trailer/RV components employing more than 6,000 people with global production and distribution footprint, was transformed under KPS via 15 acquisitions and operational improvements prior to the sale.

DexKo Global (AL-KO) Acquires Nordelettronica S.r.l.

DexKo Global, through its subsidiary AL-KO Vehicle Technology, has acquired Italian electronics specialist Nordelettronica S.r.l., expanding AL-KO’s product portfolio in electronic components for recreational vehicles and industrial electronics. The deal (closed November 30, 2020) brings Nordelettronica’s two development and production sites in Italy and Romania into the DexKo group; financial terms were not disclosed.

DexKo Global Acquires Bankside Patterson Ltd.

DexKo Global Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bankside Patterson Ltd., a Brandesburton, UK-based manufacturer of mobile home chassis, to expand the AL‑KO Vehicle Technology business into the mobile (static) home chassis market. The acquisition will broaden AL‑KO's product offering and support entry into new end markets; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval.

DexKo Global Acquires Cerka Industries Ltd.

DexKo Global Inc. has completed the acquisition of Cerka Industries Ltd., a Milton, Ontario-based manufacturer of trailer axles and distributor of trailer components to dealers and OEMs across Canada. The deal integrates Cerka into DexKo/Dexter’s distribution and manufacturing network to expand DexKo’s reach and service capability in the Canadian trailer market.

DexKo Global Inc., through its AL-KO Vehicle Technology unit, has acquired Cerma Srl, a family-owned Italian manufacturer of high-precision hydraulic valves, manifolds and turned components based in Vezzano sul Crostolo, Emilia-Romagna. The purchase strengthens DexKo/AL‑KO’s hydraulics value chain and expands its product range for off‑highway and industrial end markets; financial terms were not disclosed.

DexKo Global (AL-KO Vehicle Technology) Acquires Aguti Produktentwicklung & Design GmbH

DexKo Global Inc., via its AL-KO Vehicle Technology business unit, has acquired Aguti Produktentwicklung & Design GmbH, a Germany-based designer and manufacturer of seating systems for motorhomes, electric vehicles and specialty vehicles. The transaction was signed in October 2019 and completed December 23, 2019; financial terms were not disclosed and Aguti's existing management team will remain in place.
