PSC Group announced the acquisition of 32 Rescar operations across the United States, expanding its railcar repair, cleaning, and inspection footprint. PSC — a Houston-based, PE-backed provider of logistics and repair services — will house its Railcar Repair Headquarters at its Bayport Rail Terminal and integrate the acquired operations to broaden geographic coverage and mobile repair capacity.

PSC is a North American leader in product handling and site logistics for petrochemical, refining, midstream and marine transportation end markets, with 3,500+ employees operating across the U.S. and Canada; Aurora said it will provide capital to accelerate PSC’s growth as part of its Equity Partners V fund.

PSC Group Acquires Bayport Rail Terminal LLC

The acquisition expands PSC's last-mile logistics, railcar repair/cleaning and transloading capabilities in one of North America's largest chemical and plastics hubs.

VLS Environmental Solutions Acquires Safety Railway Service

The acquisition brings SRS's full-service railcar repair, fabrication and cleaning capabilities into VLS's Railcar Cleaning and Repair Services division; terms were not disclosed.
