The Riverside Company has invested in THE SEALS Franchising, LLC as the fifth add-on to its portfolio company EverSmith Brands. The Sterling Group Forms Evergreen Platform by Acquiring CarbonLITE's Riverside PET Facility

The Sterling Group executed a carve-out of Evergreen (the PET recycling division of Greenbridge Packaging) and merged it with the Riverside, California assets of CarbonLITE acquired through a 363 bankruptcy process to form a national PET recycling platform, Evergreen. The deal gives Evergreen a West Coast presence and increases food-grade rPET manufacturing capacity, with the Riverside facility measuring 220,000 square feet and an estimated annual capacity of more than 100 million pounds of rPET.

EverSmith Brands (Riverside) Acquires U.S. Lawns from BrightView

EverSmith Brands, a franchised-services platform owned by The Riverside Company, acquired U.S. Lawns from BrightView Holdings as an add-on to the EverSmith portfolio. The acquisition adds a national commercial landscaping and snow-management franchise network headquartered in Orlando, Florida, to EverSmith's commercial facilities brands to accelerate growth and leverage synergies with existing platform assets like Clintar.

Evergreen Services Group Acquires Kraft Enterprise Systems (KES)

Evergreen, a Nashville-based family of managed IT services and software companies, has acquired Kraft Enterprise Systems (KES), an Oracle NetSuite implementation and consulting partner formerly a subsidiary of KraftCPAs PLLC. KES will rebrand as KES Systems Solutions, LLC and operate independently within Evergreen's ERP partner portfolio, Pine Services Group, to accelerate product development and growth while continuing NetSuite implementation and post-go-live support services.

Green Meadow Sustainable Solutions Acquires Riverbend Environmental Services LLC

Green Meadow Sustainable Solutions, a PE-backed environmental services platform led by investors including Bernhard Capital Partners, acquired Riverbend Environmental Services LLC in November 2020. The deal adds a landfill in Jefferson County, Mississippi and transfer stations in Vicksburg, Mississippi and Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Green Meadow's operations and supports planned infrastructure upgrades, workforce investment and continued municipal contracts.

HEPACO Acquires Evergreen AES Environmental Services

HEPACO, a Gryphon Investors–backed provider of emergency response and environmental services, has acquired Evergreen AES Environmental Services from Jerry McCandless, Kendrick McCandless, and Jennifer Lanham. The acquisition adds Evergreen AES's four regional locations and capabilities (remediation, emergency response and waste management), expanding HEPACO's footprint across the Mid-Central and Midwest and bringing the combined company to nearly 850 employees and 49 locations.
