H.I.G. Capital, through an affiliate, has completed the acquisition of Time Manufacturing Holdings, LLC from The Sterling Group. Time Manufacturing, a global designer and manufacturer of vehicle-mounted aerial lifts and related specialty equipment headquartered in Waco, Texas, employs more than 2,000 people and will partner with H.I.G. to pursue product development, geographic expansion, and complementary acquisitions to accelerate growth.

Time Manufacturing Company (Versalift) Acquires BrandFX

Time Manufacturing Company (Versalift), a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, has acquired BrandFX, a leading manufacturer of composite service bodies. The seller was Stonebridge Partners; the acquisition gives Time in-house composite body capabilities and expands its product offering for utility, telecom and municipal fleets. BrandFX is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas and employed about 286 people at the time of the transaction.

Time Manufacturing Company, a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, has acquired Ruthmann, a German manufacturer of truck-mounted aerial work platforms (brands include Ruthmann, Steiger, Ecoline and Bluelift). The deal is an add-on acquisition designed to expand Time’s product offerings and extend Ruthmann’s brands to Time’s broader global distribution network.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires France Workwear from Rentokil Initial

An affiliate of H.I.G. Capital has completed the acquisition of the France Workwear business from Rentokil Initial. France Workwear — a France-headquartered provider of workwear, flat-linen and hygiene rental and laundry services operating 34 sites and serving over 21,000 customers on subscription contracts — will be rebranded and positioned for independent growth across Europe; H.I.G. was advised by Jefferies and Santander.

Time Manufacturing / BrandFX Acquires CPI's Fiberglass Bucket Fabrication Business

Time Manufacturing Company (through its BrandFX subsidiary) acquired the fiberglass aerial lift bucket fabrication business from CPI to integrate a key supplier into its BrandFX fiberglass division. The add-on strengthens BrandFX's composite manufacturing capabilities and secures supply for aerial lift buckets and liners to Time's Versalift and other brands, improving delivery reliability for utility and service fleet customers.

Total Access Elevator Acquires LA Elevator

Total Access Elevator, a Century Park Capital Partners–backed platform, has acquired LA Elevator to expand its elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization footprint across Los Angeles. The deal strengthens Total Access's local presence, brings LA Elevator's technicians and maintenance portfolio into the platform, and includes a conversion of LA Elevator's non-union workforce to the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 18.
