Renta Group Acquires Scaffolding Group

Renta Group Oy has agreed to acquire Scaffolding Group sp. z o.o., a Katowice-based Polish scaffolding company serving industrial customers in southern Poland. The deal (expected to close by February 2024) gives Renta an entry into the Polish industrial scaffolding market and aims to scale Scaffolding Group's geographic reach and customer base.

Renta Group Acquires YIT Kalusto Oy from YIT Corporation

Renta Group has agreed to acquire the entire share capital of YIT Kalusto Oy from YIT Corporation for an enterprise value of EUR 37 million and will sign a long-term equipment supply and services cooperation agreement with YIT in Finland. The deal (conditional on Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority approval) includes purchase of the Urjala property used by Kalusto Oy and the transfer of 67 employees to Renta; completion was estimated by 30 June 2024.

IK Partners Acquires Renta Group Oy

IK Partners’ IK IX Fund has signed an agreement to acquire Renta Group Oy from Intera Partners, with management and employees reinvesting; financial terms were not disclosed. Renta is a full-service construction and equipment rental provider operating 103 depots across the Nordics and Poland with more than 1,000 employees and ~€300m in revenues; IK will support geographic expansion into continental Europe, further add-ons and digital platform roll-out.

Renta Group Acquires SIA Uprent Group

Renta Group Oy has agreed to acquire SIA Uprent Group, a Latvia-headquartered specialist pumping and dewatering rental company operating 13 depots across Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland. Uprent has more than 100 employees and ~EUR 11 million in annual revenues; Renta said the acquisition expands its specialised pumping capability and strengthens its presence in Poland and the Baltics as part of its Northern Europe expansion strategy.

Renta Group Acquires Mylift Holding AS

Renta Group Oy has agreed to acquire Norwegian rental company Mylift Holding AS, adding eight depots and strengthening Renta's presence in Oslo and Innlandet. The deal (subject to competition review) expands Renta's product offering—notably site modules and scaffolding—and brings significant additional revenue and employees to its Norwegian network.

Renta Group Oy Acquires Tornby Byggmaskiner Holding AB

Renta Group Oy has completed the acquisition of Tornby Byggmaskiner Holding AB (TBM), a Swedish general equipment rental company operating three depots in the Östergötland region. The deal expands Renta's depot network into Motala and Mjölby, strengthens its presence in Linköping, and will allow TBM to leverage Renta's broader product range and digital solutions.
