DuPont de Nemours, Inc. agreed to acquire Spectrum Plastics Group from AEA Investors in a definitive buyout expected to close in Q3 2023; the purchase is funded from DuPont's existing cash balances. Hahn & Co. Acquires SKC's Industrial (PET) Film Business

South Korean private equity firm Hahn & Co. has completed the acquisition of SKC Ltd.'s industrial polyester (PET) film business for 1.6 trillion won (about $1.2 billion). The divestiture reflects SK Group's shift toward eco-friendly businesses while Hahn & Co. aims to expand the unit's presence in electronics, semiconductors and automotive end markets and raise its global market share.

Altium Packaging Acquires SFB Plastics

Sole Source Capital Acquires Dallas Plastics

Sole Source Capital LLC, an industrial-focused lower-middle market private equity firm, has acquired Dallas Plastics, a Mesquite, Texas-based manufacturer of blown polyethylene film serving medical, food and industrial end markets. The transaction (terms not disclosed) names Kevin Pierce as CEO while founder Dennis Pierce remains as senior advisor; Sole Source said it will invest in technology, add capacity and pursue M&A to accelerate growth in the flexible packaging space.

PSC Group (Aurora Capital Partners) Acquires Thermoplastics Services, Inc.

Charter Next Generation Acquires Polymer Film & Bag, Inc.
