MPE Partners Recapitalizes Waterfront Brands

MPE Partners (Morgenthaler Private Equity) announced the recapitalization of Waterfront Brands, the designer and manufacturer of premium watercraft lifts, docks, and related accessories, partnering with management led by CEO Don Hurley. Financing for the transaction was provided by Tree Line Capital Partners, Manulife Investment Management, Northwestern Mutual Capital, and LBC Credit Partners; Livingstone served as Waterfront's exclusive financial advisor. The recapitalization is intended to support accelerated organic growth and execution of complementary add-on acquisitions.

ShoreMaster/HydroHoist (Waterfront Brands) Acquires Neptune Boat Lifts

ShoreMaster (which merged with HydroHoist) announced the acquisition of Neptune Boat Lifts, a Fort Lauderdale-based manufacturer of saltwater boat lifts. The deal expands ShoreMaster/HydroHoist's product portfolio into the salt-water market and adds Neptune's dealer and installer network across Florida and the Caribbean.

Baltimore Potomac Truck Centers has acquired TMI Truck & Equipment (Tidewater Mack, Inc.), adding two dealerships in Chesapeake and Norfolk, Virginia. The deal, completed Nov. 13, 2023, expands Baltimore Potomac's footprint in Tidewater Virginia and brings additional OEM franchises (including Isuzu) and trailer lines into its portfolio.

Tide Rock Holdings Acquires CableMaster Corp.

Tide Rock Holdings, a San Diego-based middle-market holding company, acquired CableMaster Corp., a family-owned Milwaukee manufacturer and global supplier of custom electrical cables, power cords and wire harnesses. The deal brings CableMaster into Tide Rock's manufacturing and distribution platform to expand its electro-mechanical capabilities and OEM distribution channels.

T-H Marine (OneWater Marine) Acquires YakGear, Inc.

T-H Marine Supplies, a division of OneWater Marine, has acquired YakGear, Inc., a Houston-based supplier of kayak equipment, paddle-sport accessories, and boat mounting products. YakGear will operate as a standalone division out of its Houston facility and the acquisition expands T-H Marine's aftermarket marine product offerings and reach into paddle-sports channels.

BlackSea Technologies Acquires Blue Tide Marine

BlackSea Technologies, a Baltimore-based maritime defense solutions company and portfolio company of Razors Edge Ventures, has acquired Blue Tide Marine to expand its maritime operations, unmanned systems (UxS) capabilities and at-sea support services. The acquisition integrates Blue Tide Marine's maritime expertise — including the 170' yacht support vessel OCEANUS V and a team of retired U.S. Navy SEALs and special operators — to strengthen end-to-end UxS operations, ISR, and mission sustainment for defense customers.
