Frontenac Recapitalizes Dealer Services Network

Chicago-based private equity firm Frontenac has completed a recapitalization partnership with Dealer Services Network (DSN), a Deerfield Beach, Florida-based provider of title, registration and compliance solutions for automotive dealers, fleet operators and government agencies. The partnership will fund DSN's U.S. expansion and support strategic organic growth and add-on acquisitions to scale its DealTracker TaaS platform.

The acquisition expands TAP's national footprint (now operating in more than 24 states) and retains the company's owners, Nick & Lyla, as Co-Presidents to ensure continuity of operations.

Tag Agency Professionals (TAP), a St. Petersburg, Florida-based title and registration services provider, has acquired EZDMV, a Middletown, Rhode Island-based private tag agency specializing in fleet services. The deal adds EZDMV's fleet operations across 16 states (expanding TAP into 8 new states) and will retain founder Dennis Sullivan and the existing management team to help scale TAP's national network.
