Babington Acquires Majority of PeoplePlus Apprenticeship Business

RJD-backed Babington has agreed terms to acquire the majority of the apprenticeship business from PeoplePlus (part of Staffline Group). The deal brings around 100 employees and nearly 2,000 learners into Babington, expanding its apprenticeship programmes and customer base across England and Scotland.

BK Plus Acquires Abrams Ashton

The Hilb Group, a Richmond-based insurance brokerage and portfolio company of Abry Partners, acquired HR Knowledge (HRK), a Mansfield, Massachusetts-based provider of payroll, employee benefits, and HR management services, effective November 1, 2017. The add-on deal expands THG's benefits and outsourced HR capabilities; HRK's managing directors Ken Bettenhauser and Jeff Garr will continue to operate from Mansfield.

Limerston Capital Acquires CyberCrowd to Build Cybersecurity Platform

London-based private equity firm Limerston Capital has acquired UK-based cyber security services specialist CyberCrowd as the first step in building a new cybersecurity platform alongside assets from an earlier acquisition. The combined group will offer digital forensics, e-Discovery, a proprietary forensic case management tool, a 24/7 UK-based SOC, incident response, and scaled consultancy and penetration testing services to public and private sector clients.
