H.I.G. Capital, through an affiliate, has completed the acquisition of Pixelle Specialty Solutions Holding LLC, a North American manufacturer of specialty papers and sustainable packaging substrates. The transaction was a sale by Lindsay Goldberg; Pixelle will continue operating its multiple paper mills across the United States under H.I.G.'s ownership to support the company's next phase of growth.

Sterling Pharma Solutions Acquires Alcami's Germantown (WI) API Facility

Sterling Pharma Solutions, a portfolio company of GHO Capital Partners, has acquired Alcami’s Germantown, Wisconsin API development and manufacturing facility. The facility expands Sterling’s US footprint and adds cGMP capacity for complex and hazardous API projects, including plant-scale hydrogenation and cryogenic reactions.

Astorg Acquires Majority Stake in Steliau

Astorg, a European private equity firm, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Steliau, a pan-European value-added distributor (VAD) of electronic solutions, from B&Capital. Steliau, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Montrouge, France, employs more than 200 people across eight countries and will partner with Astorg to accelerate organic growth and execute a buy-and-build strategy.

Vertellus Acquires Polyscope Polymers

Indianapolis-based specialty materials manufacturer Vertellus, backed by Pritzker Private Capital, has acquired Polyscope Polymers B.V., a Netherlands-based producer of styrene maleic anhydride (SMA) copolymers. The deal expands Vertellus’ European production capabilities and extends its presence into coatings, electronics and automotive end markets as an add-on to the Vertellus platform.
