Koch Industries Acquires Infor from Golden Gate Capital

Koch Industries, through its affiliate Koch Equity Development LLC, has acquired the remaining equity stake in Infor from Golden Gate Capital, making Infor a standalone subsidiary of Koch. The deal (terms not disclosed) brings Infor’s industry-specific cloud software and ~17,000 employees under Koch’s ownership to accelerate Koch’s digital transformation and expand its capabilities in vertical cloud software across manufacturing, healthcare, retail and distribution.

Golden Gate Capital announced an investment in Covia as the company emerged from Chapter 11 after completing a financial restructuring that reduced long-term debt by approximately $750 million and cut fixed costs, including railcar obligations, by about $300 million. Golden Gate and its affiliates are the largest individual shareholder in Covia, a supplier of mineral-based material solutions headquartered in Independence, Ohio with an extensive network of plants and terminals across North America.
