NEC Software Solutions UK (part of NEC Corporation) agreed to acquire Capita Secure Solutions and Services (SSS), a Chippenham‑based provider of public‑safety software, radio managed services and support services, from Capita plc in a transaction announced October 1, 2021. The deal (reported at £62 million) is intended to expand NEC’s emergency‑services and justice sector offering and combine complementary technology and service capabilities, subject to customary approvals.

Norwest Equity Partners Makes Growth Investment in Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance (NORA)

Norwest Equity Partners has made an investment in Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance (NORA), a St. Charles, Illinois–based provider of specialized air, ground and courier transportation services for the organ and tissue transplant industry. Northborne Partners served as exclusive financial advisor to NORA; financial terms were not disclosed. NEP's investment is intended to support NORA's continued growth, capability expansion and service delivery to organ procurement organizations, transplant centers and perfusion technology providers.

Corporate Technologies Acquires NuMSP

Corporate Technologies, a national managed service provider based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, has acquired NuMSP, an MSP serving small and mid-sized businesses, expanding Corporate Technologies' national footprint to 16 markets across eleven states. The deal, facilitated by IT ExchangeNet, enhances service capabilities (including 24x7 NOC and SOC) for NuMSP clients and is Corporate Technologies' first acquisition since being acquired by Tonka Bay Equity Partners in July 2023.
