TrueCommerce, a global provider of trading partner connectivity and unified commerce solutions, acquired ecUtopia, a San Diego–based cloud supply chain collaboration and visibility platform powered by EDI and B2B e‑commerce. The acquisition expands TrueCommerce’s product portfolio and vertical depth—particularly in home furnishings and apparel—by adding ecUtopia’s cloud-based visibility and collaboration capabilities.

EMERGE Commerce Acquires WholesalePet.com (Retail Store Networks, Inc.)

EMERGE Commerce Ltd. acquired all issued and outstanding shares of Retail Store Networks, Inc. (dba WholesalePet.com), a profitable U.S.-based B2B e-commerce marketplace serving independent pet retailers. The transaction, announced November 16, 2021, was for up to US$25 million (combination of cash, shares, deferred consideration and earn-out) and expands EMERGE’s portfolio into the B2B pet vertical while adding a recurring, asset-light marketplace expected to be immediately accretive to EBITDA.

EmergentMedTech Merges with TRU Biologix

Descartes Systems Group acquired the assets of Localz, a Melbourne-based provider of real-time vehicle tracking and customer engagement SaaS for final-mile deliveries, for approximately US$6.2 million paid from cash on hand. The acquisition adds customer scheduling, real-time tracking and click-and-collect capabilities to Descartes' final-mile delivery solutions to enhance the day-of-service customer experience.

Northern Commerce Acquires Digital Echidna
