P1 Service Group, a Chicago-based home services platform backed by Edgewater Growth Capital Partners and River Sea Network, has acquired Essig Plumbing & Heating, a residential HVAC and plumbing provider based in Reading, Pennsylvania. The deal expands P1's footprint into the Mid-Atlantic region while Essig's president, Steve Essig, will continue to lead day-to-day operations and remain a shareholder.

Coastal Luxury Outdoors, a portfolio company of Carl Capital, acquired a series of local pool businesses across Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Florida, including Andy's Pools, BAP Pools, Gene's Pool Service, Purple Heart Pools, the maintenance division of Crown Pools, United Pool Service, Suncaster Pools, and The Pool Chick. The add-on acquisitions expand Coastal Luxury Outdoors' service capabilities, geographic footprint and maintenance capacity in the luxury outdoor living and pool market.

Riverbend Sandler Pools (Concentric Equity Partners) Acquires Backyard Paradise Luxury Pools

Riverbend Sandler Pools, a Plano-based pool construction and service platform and portfolio company of Concentric Equity Partners, has acquired Backyard Paradise Luxury Pools, a Montgomery, Texas provider of residential and commercial pool construction, remodeling, repair and maintenance. The deal is an add-on acquisition that expands the Riverbend platform's presence into the Houston market; Backyard Paradise's owner Mitchell Buckley will remain in a leadership role and retain an ownership stake.

Crescendo Capital Acquires Pools on the Gulf; Parkway Capital and BlueArc Provide Mezzanine Financing

Crescendo Capital Partners led an acquisition of Pools on the Gulf Holdings, the largest Blue Haven Pools franchisee based in Mobile, Alabama. Parkway Capital (the mezzanine affiliate of Calvert Street) invested subordinated debt and equity alongside BlueArc Mezzanine Partners and the company's senior management to support the deal and to fund expansion into new markets and growth of maintenance and services lines.

Easton Select Group Acquires Island Pools

The deal brings Island Pools' construction, renovation and service operations into Easton Select's portfolio to strengthen its Cape Cod and Islands presence while retaining local leadership and the Island Pools brand.
